Finally got some good pictures of these - some repeats, some unseen drawings. I'm trying to piece together my portfolio at the moment.

Life Drawing Galore!

So many self portraits...I know. I really am assigned all these. I have grown extremely tired of my own face, haha. I threw in a model pose down at the bottom to try and mix things up. All of these use a combination of ink, charcoal, and/or gesso.

Oh, how I am tired of hands

First day of Life Drawing II and I had to draw hands again with all the beginning students. I just...I just am so tired of hands, I can't even. But thought I should post something anyways! Haha.

I just realized I never posted this!

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and I kind of just get emotional looking at it, hahaha. So here you are! Life drawing assignment #3 enjoy :)

Total time spent on this was about 11 hours. Done in charcoal.

3 Hour Figure

Ahh, the photo is terrible, I'm sorry. The drawing is so light, I had to edit it quite a bit to get the values to show up.
But yes, this drawing was done over the course of about three hours, and I'm rather proud of it. We had to measure every little thing and relationship between things before we started to draw, and it was actually pretty fun. Only drawing that I think I can say I am proud of the feet, haha.

Done in graphite on toned paper.

Elemental

Final project for Drawing II. I used many new techniques while making these and overall am happy with the results. I used ink and dry pastel and they are roughly 27" x 33". I really loved hearing all of my classmates' different interpretations of the meaning of my piece. I wanted to leave it up to the viewer and people really did get a lot out of it.

Some gift cards I made

I made some gift cards for Graphic Design! I thought they turned out pretty cute. 

I really like the way they look printed out, as opposed to on the computer. They turned out super nice. Yay!

I know, so exciting! Haha. Did this in colored pencils, only using primary colors. Fun color mixing exercise. Sorry for the crappy picture, had to take it fast and with my phone :( Just an update!
